Someone once said that the greatest tension is having no tension at all. Stress is what happens when an object is unable to manage the demands placed on it. This happens to us humans all the time, and contrary to a lot of belief, Stress can be a good thing! It can help motivate us to take action, builds immune functions (in the short term) and help us problem solve. However if we are experiencing ongoing, or long-term stress, we start to see it’s harmful side effects.
