Ken Dao

Ken is a registered psychologist and has practiced across a range of diverse settings including: schools, community health, government agencies and crisis helplines. With therapeutic experience across the lifespan, Ken provides support to children (10+), adolescents, adults and elderly individuals, focussing on assisting each client to identify and work towards their own personal, individual goals.

Ken is passionate about supporting people to manage life challenges, including adjustment issues and life stresses such as school, work, family and relationship issues. Common issues that Ken works with include depression, anxiety, stress, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, grief and loss and trauma.

As an EMDR, trauma-informed trained therapist, Ken has a keen interest in supporting people to understand and heal past traumas. He uses a warm, empathetic, collaborative and person-centred approach as he assists each client to reach their own personal therapeutic goals and overcome life obstacles, to lead more enriched, peaceful and fulfilling lives.
