Cathryn Hooker
Cathryn is a Registered Mental Health Occupational Therapist (AHPRA, OTA, and BAMH). Originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, she now calls Melbourne home. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions, as these are the areas of practice she is most passionate about. She has experience working in the NDIS space with young adults and adults who experience mental health and/or addiction challenges.
Cathryn values building strong therapeutic relationships and supporting individuals in achieving their goals. She is a warm, non-judgmental practitioner who takes a holistic approach, ensuring she understands what is meaningful to each person she works with. Her assessment approach, goal setting, treatment planning, and interventions are all flexible, adapting to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
